Kennards Self Storage has moved its Team Headquarters to Macquarie Park.

After 18 years in the Homebush office, which was surplus space in the rear of the companies storage centre, the relocation positions Kennards for the future with room to grow.

Kennards has developed a flagship self storage centre at Macquarie Park, and converted an elevated front office portion into a contemporary open-plan headquarters. It is a dramatic make-over for the former Brother International Head Office.

The Macquarie Park area is undergoing significant renewal and development. Ryde City Council have positioned the area to attract investment and encourage higher-density development.

Macquarie Shopping Centre has nearly completed its expansion. The NSW State Government and Ryde Council have nominated Herring Road as an “Urban Activation Precinct”, while Macquarie University continues to improve and expand its campus.

Kennards Self Storage acquired the Macquarie Park property in 2012 after more than five years of searching the area.

The property is located at 7 Khartoum Road, and will eventually boast over 9,000 Square metres of net lettable area and over 1,000 storage spaces.

The storage centre has been developed as a showpiece for the Kennards Self Storage Brand.

Kennards corporate headquarters occupy 740 square metres of the property.

Kennards Self Storage owns and operates 83 Storage Centres across Australia and New Zealand. The company has over 520,000 square metres of space available and 59,000 storage units.

The company remains a private family-owned business.
