On the outer edge of Sydney’s Inner West a new development is looming.

With street frontage on the Hume Hwy work has commenced to fill an infrastructure gap in the business district of Chullora. The $10 million dollar Kennards Self Storage centre is due to commence building in August with an expected opening early 2017.

The time and location are perfect. Located at the cross roads of the Hume Hwy and Roberts Road, the centre will provide unprecedented levels of access to Sydney’s inner and outer west and Sydney’s South. It’s not a building you will miss, brightly clad in orange it will be an icon for the suburb.

Since purchasing the land in 2006 the area has become a popular business district surrounded by a growing urban sprawl. The state of the art property will fill a Self Storage void between Sydney’s M4 & M5 Motorway complementing our already established properties at Homebush and Bankstown.

With just over 9,000 square meters of gross floor area the property will consist of one single storey, one double storey and one four storey building. It will offer a desirable mix of drive up, mini warehouses, ground floor, upper level spaces and plenty of open spaces for vehicles, boats and caravans. Customer will enjoy 24 hour 7 day a week access, complimentary meeting room with wireless connectivity and individually alarmed spaces. Undercover loading docks, moving equipment including walk behind fork lifts, pallet jacks and trolleys will cater to both business and residential markets.

Expanding our footprint into Chullora is just another way we are able to cater to our customer’s needs.
